AFTER ALL, THE MANCHESTER CITY HAS HISTORY? ( VIDEO GOALS IN THE LAST MINUTE )

No need to go far to find someone saying that the City has no history. In this, I found myself doing an exercise in imagination and started architecting this text based on the following principle: are they right? Could it be that the City has no story to be told?

Consider this. In 1904, the City was the first team of Manchester to win a major trophy in English football by beating Bolton in the FA Cup final that season. Not to mention that the team almost got the double that year, but ended with the runner-up in the league.

In 1937, the City won their first English championship. However, the following year the team made that it should be the worst title defense in history, being relegated to the Second Division.

And in 1956, the city won one of its five FA Cup in a final that is considered one of the most spectacular in history.

Yes, it was on the day that Bert Trautmann held Birmingham at Wembley with a bone broken neck.

In the 60s, the club had one that can be considered its most glorious period before the arrival of Abu Dhabi men in the city.

At the time, the team won the league for the second time, took another FA Cup and at the turn of the decade won his first international title, the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup. In addition, it was in that period of time that the Citizen crowd saw three of his major players paraded their category Maine Road: Mike Summerbee, Colin Bell and Franny Lee.

In the 70s, the team lifted the trophy of the League Cup by beating Newcastle in the final, but the story is not always just about bowls.

Certainly the most emblematic moment of that period was when Denis Law gave his push heel, to send United to the second division.

Incidentally, Manchester Derbies are a separate chapter in the history of the City. As in 1989, when a rout by 5-1 at Maine Road almost did not cost the post to Alex Ferguson, who, in turn, to this day defines the day as one of the worst of his career - as well as 6-1 in Old Trafford in 2011.

The last derby at Maine Road also has its historical burden not only for the dismissal of the stadium itself, but also because it was the day Shaun Goater scored his hundredth goal for City.

And if the 80 had their occasional moments of glory, the same can not be said of the 90 If out of bounds, the city and the team were well represented by Oasis, inside it was not like that - especially in the second half of decade, when the team experienced the feeling of playing in the third division for the first time in its century-old history.

However, it was precisely at this time, one of the darkest club, one of the most incredible games of the team happened.

Yes, that is the end of the playoffs against Gillingham in 99 that the present writer does not tire never mentioned. Nor will. And Noel Gallagher bless Kevin Horlock, Nicky Weaver and especially Paul Dickov.

50 of the second half? No problem! Even in the third division, the City has always been a team prone to great things
But they know that these moments all have in common? They are history; recorded in videos, photos, books, websites and any other form of possible file.

And it is also why people talk about these facts today - just like this blogger does right now. You know why? Because the City is not about money, millionaire hires or an Arab bored he decided to play Football Manager. By the way, goes off to be the case.

If it is to talk about wealth, which also talk about the history of the team that is indeed very rich. Maybe not in so many glories as Liverpool, United or Arsenal, for example. But what this club has to get here is as valuable as any other story, and yes, it deserves to be told.

- But what about the time that the city lives today?

Also history. And you want to know what the best part? It is that it is being written before our eyes. As in Agüero goal against QPR when Martin Tyler said no one would see anything like that again.

You can be sure that he did not speak to speak. Both Martin Tyler as any of us know that May 13 will be subject for the next 50 or 100 years.

Manchester City are still alive here ... Balotelli ... Agüeroooooooooooooooo !!!

Just like when the city, even off the field, saw his fourth national title be sent by Crystal Palace, who sought a heroic draw against Liverpool after being losing by 3-0 at Selhurst Park.

Even after a long time, people go, yeah, keep talking about it.

You know why? Why is history.
